In all honesty, eating here has me gobsmacked! As a local I’ve seen other mediocre restaurants come and go on this corner- NOT THIS ONE. The customer service was fantastic, orders were taken straight away and staff were friendly throughout the entire meal, I even got a picture of one of the chef’s - they’re so happy.. The food was absolutely spot on, I am of Indian origin so I would like to think I am their biggest critic, but the dishes were faultless. It is very very clear they use fresh, high quality ingredients because you can taste the difference.. The food was served piping hot and the salad wasn’t the typical small pieces of onion in a bag! Proper slices of onion on the side.. Portion sizes reflect the price, I went with my fiancé, we could not finish the food and had to pack every single dish. I would say one main dish could feed ..The restaurant was clean and the chairs were very comfortable to sit in. The dishes were served in gorgeous tiny pots so I’d recommend dining in for the full experience. Here are some photos of the dishes I got; they are all vegetarian dishes and tasted / so my theory is if someone knows how to make vegetables taste good, I have no doubt they will be able to make meat.FYI I got everything mild because I can’t handle spice (...it’s a working progress)I got the following;A) “palak paneer” - this is spinach with cubes of cottage cheese, /B) “dhal makhani” - lentils cooked in a thick and creamy sauceC) Garlic naan- this was SO softD) “peshwari naan” - this is a SWEET naan, adored for my sweet tooth fiancé, I like more savoury so the garlic naan was my favouriteE) Rice - clearly have used basmati rice, it’s cooked to perfectionF) starter - sesame tofu - AMAZING, so CRISPY yet succulent, will be ordering this everydayG) drinks; “mango lassi” - lassi means a MILK based drink which is then flavoured with mango, or sugar (called sweet lassi) or flavoured with salt ( called salty lassi, very creative- unfortunately they don’t currently have salty lassi but the mango lassi was perfect.)As you can see from my description and the photos this isn’t your typical Indian takeaway. It goes without saying, I will definitely be back again! Finally, to the chefs and staff, thank you for adding this lovely restaurant to this beautiful community.

Some of the food was just ok not particularly full of flavour. The paneer dish my friend had was deemed delicious. It's an interesting place with its quirky decor and looped pop music in the background. Service wasn't great with only two tables in the restaurant. Had to wait quite a while for steamed rice and a salad. The chef apologised with a lovely bowl of lentils which went down well. Shame they do not cater for vegans terribly well. Lots of vegetarian and dairy free dishes.

We have been here multiple times and Kashi never disappoints. We came here this time for a group booking for adults, Vijay went out of his way to provide us with a buffet (with unlimited meat, rice, vegetable & breads - which really was amazing value). The service was impeccable despite the large numbers. We also found that despite it being a buffet, the quality of the food did not suffer and remained really high, a problem other curry houses always seem to have.In short, amazing service, food quality & value for money. Will be back soon on our own and as a group!

I recently dined at Kashi, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal with family or friends. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the delicious spread of Indian dishes. We started with the chats, which were bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spices and textures. Moving on to the main course, the dal makhani was rich and creamy, exactly how it should be. The veg makhanwala was equally impressive, with a delightful blend of vegetables in a luscious, buttery sauce. The naans were simply outstanding – soft, fluffy, and the ideal accompaniment to the curries. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s expertise.Overall, Kashi exceeded our expectations with its superb food and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.Vegetarian options: Very good and wholesome veg option including Kale chaat.
